FIELD: fire fighting equipment and method. SUBSTANCE: method involves using "nitrogenous bombs" made in the form of ice vessels filled with liquefied nitrogen. Effectiveness of method is enhanced by reducing temperature in fire suppression zone and, as a result, increasing fireman safety conditions. Ice water cools and simultaneously impregnates highly inflammable forest leaf litter and bog to prevent them from repeated inflammation. EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified method. 1 dwg
