FIELD: mining engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for managing additional water reserves when mined out peatlands flooded and device for its implementation with both direct and reverse hydraulic communication (mixed) is structural control system including a ground retaining dam 1 with crest mark 2 above the bottom of flat lagoon 3, a crest 2, turnable retaining wall 4 with fixed axis 5. The retaining wall 4 is installed with an inclination downstream. In this case, the rotation axis 5 of the turnable retaining wall 4 is watertightly anchored to the shoulder 8 of the sill bench 7. The rotation axis 5 is connected to the counterweight 9 which is installed with inclination downstream. The wall mark 4 of the crest 10 is located below the mark of the designed retain water level 11 of the retaining dam 1. The weight of the counterweight 9 is determined in such a way that the moment of forces from the weight of the retaining wall 4 and the water pressure thereon relative to the axis of rotation 5 of the retaining wall 4 is counterbalanced by the moment of the weight of the counterweight 9. In addition, the drive float includes a float 14, a rod 15, a lever 16, rotation axis 5 of the turnable retaining wall 4 and the counterweight 9.
EFFECT: method for regulating water mode of flooded area allows to increase efficiency of local effluent utilisation, improving the overall ecological situation around the mine out peatlands.
