Method for detection, prevention and extinguishing of forest fires by atmospheric nitrogen with a helicopter is characterized by the fact that a node of an external suspension of a helicopter for water discharge devices is suspended with a container membrane nitrogen station, which releases nitrogen from ambient air, which under pressure through lower container receiver-cooler-sprayer is supplied to burning forest area, successively performing functions of phlegmatisation, inhibition and cooling of fire centers, by nitrogen replacement of air in combustion zone, thereby suppressing the combustion process and propagation of fire.

EFFECT: providing continuous supply of fire extinguishing composition.
