FIELD: production of carbon sorbents. SUBSTANCE: process of winning of carbon sorbent includes drying of organic starting material with hot gaseous carbonization products, carbonization of starting material at temperature of 550-600 C, its stimulation with steam and gas mixture at temperature of 750-800 C. Hot gas is generated in this case before mixture with steam by burning of liquid fuel at temperature of 1200-1800 C. In proposed plant steam and gas mixture is supplied from activator simultaneously into upper part of carbonization unit for control and into its lower part. EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain completeness of pyrolysis of entire organic starting material at carbonization stage to win high-quality sorbent. 2 cl, 1 dwg
