FIELD: heat treatment of carbo-containing raw materials. SUBSTANCE: air blast, pulverized fuel and solid carbon-containing raw material are delivered to mixing chamber made in form of refractory tube; raw material is mixed with heat-transfer agent flow obtained through burning pulverized fuel at excess-air coefficient of α ≪ 1; it consists of dust-and-gas mixture heated to 800-900 C; then carbon- containing raw material is separated from flow in cyclone together with powder-like portion of heat-transfer agent; raw material heated in non- heated chamber is subjected to pyrolysis obtaining vapor-and-gas mixture and polydispersed semi-coke; then, semi-coke is divided into coarse fraction by means of activating vapor-and-gas agent fed to activator and flow of powder-like activated carbon directed to cyclone for settling.
