METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF "WALL IN EARTH" Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method relates to construction of external walling for basins, collars of mine shafts, underground chambers, also to construction of foundations and load-bearing walls. It also relates to formation of counterfiltration curtains. Method implies drilling of bore-holes at distance between them being less than diameter of these bore-holes, installation of framework into drilled bore-holes. Sides of framework are convexed inside bore-hole over radius which is equal to radius of intermediate bore-holes. Sides are symmetrical relative to cross-sectional axis which is perpendicular in plan to wall being constructed. Space of bore-hole which is separated by convexed sides over periphery is filled with easily destructed filler. After that, intermediate bore-holes are drilled with use of convexed sides of framework as guides, filler is drilled out and intermediate bore-holes are concreted. Framework is made with sides in the form of continuous convexed circular sectors which are rigidly interconnected to each other by lateral reinforcement bows and longitudinal reinforcement rods. After placement of easily destructed filler, carried out is concreting of internal part of bore-holes between circular sectors. Application of aforesaid method allows for producing guaranteed integrity of "wall in earth" due to ideal joining of bore-holes to each other, thus giving high quality of operations and also reduction of transportation cost, labour and power inputs.
