FIELD: passive radar stations. SUBSTANCE: method involves reception of pulses by antenna, which provides two identical beam patterns which are split with respect to their angle in scanning plane and oriented towards source of emission, and by two receivers, which outputs provides data for measuring pulse repetition rate. Then method involves calculation of difference between pulse repetition rates measured at outputs of first and second receivers. In addition method involves measuring time interval between pulses at outputs of receivers and detection of alteration speed for this interval. Unknown repetition rate of emitted pulses is measured as ratio of difference of pulse repetition rates to alteration speed of time interval. Goal of invention is achieved by design of antenna, which provides two identical beam patterns which are split with respect to their angle in scanning plane and oriented towards source of emission. Antenna has two outputs, each of which is connected in series to respective receiver and meter of pulse repetition rate. Outputs of meters of pulse repetition rate are connected to inputs of calculation unit, which output is connected to first input of divider. Outputs of receiver are connected to inputs of time interval meter, which output is connected to second input of divider through differential circuit. Output of divider is connected to indicator. EFFECT: increased precision of measurement due to possibility to take into account Doppler shift of pulse repetition rate. 1 dwg
