FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular hopper equipment used for conveyance and storage of bulk materials, such as feed materials. SUBSTANCE: hopper has casing and bottom separated along perimeter with slit opening, cone disposed centrally of hopper bottom, stem positioned in hopper center, and ripper hitched to stem. Ripper has set of blades rigidly connected one to the other. Disk is positioned under hopper bottom for rotation in horizontal plane. Scrapers are attached to disk. Ripper is positioned on cone apex for rotation around cone generatrix. Ripper stem is mounted for rotation in vertical plane by means of control panel. Belt conveyor is disposed under hopper bottom. Weight sensor is positioned below conveyor belt and is connected to control panel. One of ripper blades and at least one scraper are made elongate and may be brought into contacting engagement one with the other, when ripper stem is in its extreme position. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced consumption of power for discharge of feed material from hopper. 2 dwg
