CHARGING DEVICE FOR UNIFORMLY FILLING VERTICAL CONTAINERS WITH LOOSE MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for charging hoppers or silos. Proposed charging device contains hollow deflecting truncated cone widening downwards and provided with central charging hole in upper smaller base over which discharge end of feed conveyor is located, spreading disk installed for rotation inside deflecting cone under charging hole and rigidly secured on lower end of vertical shaft installed on axle of deflecting cone for reciprocation in vertical at rotation. Shaft rotation drive is located outside deflection cone and is provided with device for reciprocation in vertical when shaft rotates and it is mechanically connected with upper part of shaft. Deflecting cone is made sectional in height, being assembled of interconnected rings of different size diameters increasing in downward direction. Diameter of hole of each underlying ring exceeds outer diameter of higher adjacent ring. Inner surface of deflecting cone is formed by connecting edge of hole of each underlying ring with outer edge of higher adjacent ring through surface of rotation around axis of deflecting cone by smoothly curved line pointed with concavity inside deflecting cone. Invention provides uniform filling of vertical containers with loose material, simplified design, reduced labor input at manufacture, increased overhaul period.

EFFECT: improved convenience in operation, and repairability of charging device.
