FIELD: transportation and storage of bridge-forming loose materials with subsequent discharging. SUBSTANCE: proposed hopper device contains hopper with charging port, bridge-breaking device mechanically coupled with drive of discharge conveyor installed in longitudinal chute in housing bottom. Conveyor consists of flights secured on chain tandem. Bridge-breaking device is made in form of L-shaped plates secured successively from top on chain of discharge conveyor, flanges of plates being pointed to one side. Longitudinal chute is made with width equal to maximum width of bridge-forming slot for different types of loose materials stored in hopper and is furnished with cover from side opposite to direction of flanges of L-shaped plates and installed for turning and fixing at angle to bottom of housing. One of several additional chutes can be made in housing bottom, being connected to common drive. EFFECT: reduced energy consumption by regulating intensity of bridge breaking, depending on type of lose material and its slumping. 4 cl, 2 dwg
