FIELD: fluorescent lamps using diode-capacitor voltage multiplying circuits to build up starting voltage. SUBSTANCE: unit has diode- capacitor voltage multiplying circuit and terminal block. It is integral structure that has case accommodating voltage-multiplying printed-circuit board with terminal-block terminals on front surface of printed-circuit board and cover locking the latter in position relative to case. Contact pads of terminal-block terminals are made directly on printed-circuit board and separated by insulating gaps and vertical isolating ribs of unit cover which are tightly fitted to printed-circuit board in vicinity of insulating gaps between contact pads to form terminal block jacks open to perimeter. EFFECT: improved reliability of lamp and economic efficiency of lighting system. 7 cl, 4 dwg
