SUBSTANCE: contactless starter used for controlling and protecting ac circuits has power unit incorporating electronic power cell mounted on thick base inside locating slot of heat sink. The latter is made in the form of ribbed heat-conducting support. Symmetry axis of electronic power cell is aligned with or parallel to longitudinal symmetry axis of heat-conducting support. Electronic power cell is mounted on thickened base; location of electronic power cell inside heat-conducting support depends on its height and its thickness, on length of fastening screw.
