Abstract RU 2148982 C1

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves showing to a patient two TV sets or other screens with color images displayed. The first one is set at a distance of 45-60 cm from the patient and has screen size of 10 cm. The second one is set at a distance of 450-600 cm and has screen size of at least 55 cm. The patient is to fix his attention alternatively during 20-30 min. To maintain such durable stable concentration is difficult task when the patient is a child. So, it is advisable to display a computer game on the screens or cartoon film by switching image from one screen to another with 6- 40 s long half period according to physician recommendations. The alternating vision fixation on different distance objects trains accommodation capacity by means of physiological massage of the ciliary muscle. The total treatment course is 25-30 days long in daily procedure mode. EFFECT: eliminated weakness of accommodation capacity; improved vision acuity.
