MANUFACTURING METHOD OF RECTIFICATED ETHYL ALCOHOL "ALFA" Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC C12P7/06 C12G3/12

SUBSTANCE: method envisages direction of the wash distillate to the epuration column, where base and intermediate admixtures are extracted from it, which are directed to the feeding plate of the boost column in amount not more than 3%. Epuration and boost columns work in the hydroselection mode with the use of softened water. Intermediate admixture components are selected from the 32^nd and 34^th plates of epuration columns in amounts of 0.5-1.5%, they are fed to fusel-oil concentrating column, part of them is extracted with fusel oil, another part - from this column condenser and returned to the 40^th plate of the epuration column. Epurate from the extraction part of the epuration column is fed to the feeding plate of the rectification column. Rectificated alcohol is sent from the rectification column to the feeding plate of the final purification. Base and intermediate admixtures are selected from the epuration column condenser and directed to the feeding plate of the booster column. In compliance with the method the 40^th plate of the epuration column is fed with base admixtures and distillates of non-standard alcohol from rectification column condenser and methanol from the final purification column condenser.

EFFECT: improvement of the final product quality due to more complete purification from unwanted admixtures.
