FIELD: mechanical engineering repair facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has upper holddown-heater installed from outer surface of tyre and inner holddown- installed from inner surface. One upsetting diaphragm is installed on upper holddown-heater and on lower holddown to provide uniform distribution of pressure over vulcanized blank. Diaphragms are filled up with working medium to provided optimum conditions of vulcanization. Device has control system for coordination of operations of installation and fastening of tyre between upper and lower holddowns. Each upsetting diaphragm consists of two metal thin-walled shells connected to each other with provision of hermetic sealing. Space between shells is filled up with working medium. Upsetting diaphragms are connected by pipelines with main line to supply working medium into diaphragm spaces for operation under working conditions by means of control system.
