FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: stabilizing device includes two skegs-stabilizers mounted on either side in aft extremity symmetrically relative to CL. Skegs-stabilizers are rigidly mounted on bottom of ship or floating structure; each skeg consists of two sections. Length of one section is equal to 0.72 to 0.82 of total length of skeg-stabilizer; it is oriented on bottom in parallel with ship's CL. Other section is turned in waterplane through angle of 25 to 35 deg from CL towards sides; length of this section is equal to 0.28 to 0.18 of total length of skeg-stabilizer.
