FIELD: electrolytic production of aluminum. SUBSTANCE: process of putting aluminum electrolyzer into operation includes firing, loading of starting material, aluminum and electrolyte, bringing to technological operation. Aluminum carrying iron in quantity of 0.3-0.7 per cent by mass and silicon in quantity of 0.26-1.0 per cent by mass is loaded into bath of electrolyzer in the amount of 2.0-6.0 t. EFFECT: reduced time of bringing electrolyzer into operation and prolonged service life of it.
