FIELD: civil engineering, particularly, designs of soundproofing windows used in various buildings and structures. SUBSTANCE: soundproofing window has window casing, external and internal sashes, glass panel installed with the help of flexible gaskets on external sash, multiple glass unit filled with transparent fluid and installed with the aid of flexible gaskets on internal sash, soundproofing material located on casing internal surface. Lateral spiral grooves are made on casing internal surface in window upper part and on adjacent surfaces of external and internal sashes. EFFECT: increased soundproofing effect of window due to elimination of dead zones of air between glass panel and multiple glass unit, and uniform distribution of sound pressure over entire soundproofing surface. 4 dwg
