FIELD: wireless communication networks, in particular, transmission of control signals between base and mobile stations in cellular telephone network. SUBSTANCE: method involves transmission of fast- access control channel messages with system information between mobile station and base station through digital voice channel, when timer waiting time is finished or during breaks in voice structure of mobile station user. This results in improved quality of digital transmission of voice and flexible implementation of features services which require active fast-access control channel exchange between base station and mobile station during voice communication. Signal channel-related messages, which are not time critical, are synchronized upon detection of voice exchange activity.
