FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying complex biomechanical examination of a patient. Interlink angles are measured in walking by means of strain gauges. Movement amplitude is determined from goniogram. Its magnitude being equal to or greater than 12 deg and less than 62 deg, functional state of the knee joint is considered to be satisfactory and favorable outcome of operative treatment is to be predicted. The movement amplitude being equal to or greater than zero, knee joint function disorder is considered to be of severe degree that leads to bad results of operation treatment to be applied. EFFECT: high accuracy in predicting potential result of operative treatment and selecting appropriate treatment type to be selected.
