FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves setting a device before suturing access to the abdominal cavity. The device has flexible cord to be arranged across the laparotomy wound with both ends brought on the skin surface following pararectal lines and fixed on interlayers. Long thread from nonabsorbable pseudomonofilament surgical suture material of antimicrobial activity is attached to the middle portion of the cord. Thread ends are brought outside through punctures aside from the upper and lower angles of the wound. Fixing members of any kind are to be fixed on the thread ends for hindering thread escape into the abdominal cavity. Visceroparietal commissures are separated in postoperative time in moving the flexible cord by drawing first one and then the other free end of the thread. The device is removed after repairing intestine peristalsis. Wound canals are filled with medical glue. EFFECT: avoided invasive anesthesia procedures; reduced risk of pyo-inflammatory complications. 3 dwg
