FIELD: metal working, manufacture of cutting tools. SUBSTANCE: milling cutter includes body with seats for mounting one onto another with possibility of remounting main and additional similar non-reground tips. The last are mounted with possibility of rotation around their axes and remounting for using support face as cutting one. Each cutting tip has central opening and shaped groove in its one end. When end faces of main and additional non-reground tips are joined with said groove member for fixing them is in the form of stud with dent whose size and configuration are similar to those of groove. When non-reground tips are joined by their other end faces fixing member is in the form of screw. EFFECT: enhanced strength and efficiency of milling cutter. 5 cl, 4 dwg
