FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: material designed for finishing fancy goods, baby carriages, furniture, and also for finishing building interiors, etc. contains textile warp with surface density 100 to 320 g/sq.m, which consists of flax fibers or following mixtures of fibers: flax, cotton, and viscose at ratio (10-50): (35-20): (55-30); flax, viscose, and polyester, (10-50): (50-30): (40-20); flax and polyester, (10-50):(90- 50); flax, polyester, and cotton, (10-50): (40-20): (50-30); flax and viscose, (10-50): (90-50); flax and cotton, (10-50):(90-50); flax, wool, and polyester, (10-50): (50-30): (40-20); flax, viscose, and polypropylene, (10- 50):(70-45): (20-5). Material has further intermediate polymer layer composed of, wt parts: water-dispersion polymer binder 100, hypan 2-4, sodium carboxymethylcellulose 2-5, and water 120-220; or water- dispersion polymer binder 100, , sodium carboxymethylcellulose 2-8, and water 110-220. Polymer layer is applied on one side of textile warp in amount 20-60 g/sq.m to be doubled by paper base in amount 20-60 g/sq.m. Weight ratio of the three layers is (5-16): (1-4): (1-4), respectively. Polymer layer is applied at temperature 15-40 C and paper base is then laid at travel velocity of intermediate product 10-20 m/min. Product is finally dried at 100-125 C. Another modification of material contains two basic layers and intermediate binding layer of ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer with vinyl acetate content 25-32% made in the form of separate 200-250-mcm particles covering 70-80% of surface of basic layers. In this modification, the second basic layer consists of paper, textile, nonwoven base, or fur. In this case, intermediate layer is applied on 70-80% of textile warp surface, intermediate layer is thermally treated at 115-125 C for 1-2 sec, and doubling is accomplished by assistance of mirror rolls at pressure 0.5-1.5 bar. . EFFECT: achieved fungal resistance with no fungicides added and increased binding strength between polymer coating and textile warp and between material and underlying surface. 4 cl, 3 tbl, 42 ex
