METHOD OF VODKA PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of solution by mixing ethyl rectified alcohol "Extra" and potable water corrected on reverse osmosis installation with hardness up to 0.10 mole/cu. m for preparation of 38-% strength vodka. Then solution is thoroughly mixed, its strength is corrected, and after it, solution is cleaned and filtered on carbon-cleaning battery. Aromatic alcohol is prepared from lemon melissa and anise in the amount of 0.15-0.2 and 0.05-0.1 kg, respectively, per 1000 dal of vodka. Natural honey is dissolved by softened water in ratio 1: 5, brought up to boiling, cooled, filtered and separated into two equal portions. Filtered vodka is directed to finishing vessel, and both portions are added there at mixing. Aromatic alcohol is introduced in vodka simultaneously with the second portion. Ingredients are mixed in the vessel, vodka is corrected up to desired grade, if necessary, and bottled with obligatory control filtration. The ingredients of vodka "Dinastiya tsaritsa Ekaterina" are used in the following ratio per 1000 dal of prepared product: natural honey, 4.8-5.2 kg; aromatic alcohol of anise and lemon melissa, 2.8-3.2 l; ethyl rectified alcohol "Extra" and potable water corrected on reverse osmosis installation with hardness up to 0.10 mole/cu.m; the balance, up to 38-% strength.
