SUBSTANCE: beater has cylinder 1 with flexible loop-shaped members 3 and blades 2, which are defined by blocks of flexible members 3 whose ends are brought together and oriented in parallel with geometrical axes of beaters 6. Flexible members 3 are located in guides 7 mounted in pairs inside reinforcing carcass of cylinder 1 in diametrical planes offset in equally spaced angular relation one with respect to the other. Reinforcing carcass is defined by guides 7 mounted in V-shaped slots of pack of flanges 9-12, which is provided with axially aligned short and elongated journals 13, 14 disposed on outer flanges 9, 12. Each block of flexible members 3 is fixed in guides 7 by fasteners 27 and retainer 26. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced labor consumption and improved quality of cleaned root surface. 5 cl, 4 dwg
