FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lead-based alloys suitable for production of doped lead oxides, active materials of electrodes, electrodes and lead-acid accumulator batteries, as well as to methods of producing doped lead oxides, active materials of electrodes, electrodes and lead-acid storage batteries. According to the invention, the lead-based alloy contains, as a percentage of the total weight of the alloy: from 0.0030 % to 0.0900 % bismuth; from 0.0010 % to 0.0300 % of antimony; from 0.0010 % to 0.0300 % of arsenic and from 0.0010 % to 0.0100 % of tin; method of producing doped lead oxide involves loading ingots of lead-based alloy into ball mill, wherein lead-based alloy contains, in percentage of total weight of alloy: from 0.0030 % to 0.0900 % of bismuth; from 0.0010 % to 0.0300 % of antimony; from 0.0010 % to 0.0300 % of arsenic and from 0.0010 % to 0.0100 % of tin; grinding of lead-based alloy ingots; oxidation of lead-based alloy during grinding to form doped lead oxide; formation of powder particles of doped lead oxide during grinding.
EFFECT: improved operational parameters of lead-acid accumulator batteries.
