FIELD: machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine tool includes two circular guiding frames one of which is in the form of two sector portions; two kinematically engaged one with another toothed rings arranged in circular guiding frames. Small toothed ring is in the form of toothed sector and it is arranged inside large toothed ring; rotation planes of toothed rings are mutually normal. Reel holders and braking drums are arranged at inner side of said rings. Reinforced plate is placed inside toothed rings in plane normal relative to rotation planes of both toothed rings. Plate is fixed in its angular portions. Reels are loaded with bands whose width is equal to dimension of plate side. One band is preliminarily impregnated with binder. Bands are fed simultaneously in two mutually normal planes with predetermined tension. EFFECT: possibility of mechanization of process for reinforcing rectangular plates with bands of high-strength material. 4 cl, 2 dwg
