SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of moving dressing tool along generatrix of grinding wheel; imparting to dressing tool oscillations in direction normal relative to working surface of grinding wheel; simultaneously changing frequency and amplitude of oscillations of dressing tool for providing amplitude- and frequency-modulated oscillations in such a way that higher frequency corresponds to less amplitude of oscillations and vice versa. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of grinding, improved strength and quality parameters of grinding wheel due to use of signal modulation providing increased feed rate. 2 dwg
