FIELD: missile weapon. SUBSTANCE: the arbalest has a casing, string tensioning mechanism in the form of a rotary spring-loaded fork engageable with the trigger mechanism. The arbalest is provided with a shooting simulation mechanism, having a change lever with two recesses linked by a tracer surface, and a spring-loaded pin with a roller engageable with the recesses and change lever tracer surface. The pin rests against the stem of the rotary fork and is tightened to it by a spring with an adjusting nut providing for a moment from the force of pin action on the fork equal to the moment from action of the tensioned string on the fork. EFFECT: provision of simulated shooting without loading of the bow and drawing of the string, enhanced durability. 3 cl, 5 dwg
