SUBSTANCE: tested geological structures are exposed to acoustic action, reflected acoustic signals are recorded and processed. After their processing material displaying swelling degree not less than 104 is injected into tested geological structures. Acoustic and electromagnetic signals with their changing characteristics corresponding to swelling degree are received. Thickness of productive pool is determined by time spent for swelling. Outline of pool is determined by boundary of abrupt damping of acoustic signals and simultaneous growth of electromagnetic signals reflected from boundary of rock-hydrocarbon separation.
