SUBSTANCE: novelty in device is inhibition of control pulse supply to conductors of non-conducting side under normal operating conditions of inverter and generation of inhibit signal for control pulse shapers of all thyristors in case of inadmissible load on inverter provided by newly introduced OR gate. Introduction of OR gate 13 and flip-flop 14 inhibiting supply of control pulses to thyristors of different sides, definite connections between coincidence gates 11, 12 and other components of control system, thyristor conducting state monitoring sensors 9, 10 whose output signals depend on current in thyristor backward diode circuit and thyristor control pulse signal enables using protective device for pulse- operated voltage inverters.
