The fraction has pH lower than 5.0 and contains organic acids in the amount of 18-45 wt.% by dry substance, and potassium in the amount approximately 3-5.5 wt.%. Using the fraction from molasses and stillage for preservation of forage produces stimulating action to microorganisms growth.
