FIELD: pelletizing. SUBSTANCE: pelletizer for pelletizing of powder material has mixing drum and distributor. Mixing drum is rotated round its longitudinal axis and provided with powder material feeder, feeder of binding agent solution and outlet hole for discharge of pelletized material. Feeder of binding agent solution is connected to distributor so that binding agent solution supplied by feeder to distributor is distributed in mixing drum through hole in distributor body. The distributor is made in the form of cylindrical body and installed for rotation round its longitudinal axis in direction opposite to direction of mixing drum rotation. The distributor has mixing members for mixing of pelletized material in mixing drum. Method of pelletizing includes supply of powder material to mixing drum, its rotation and distribution through holes in distributor of binding agent in power material found in mixing drum. In this case, the distributor is used and binding agent solution is distributed efficiently due to the fact that the distributor is surrounded with powder material. Described also is pelletized product produced by the claimed method. Invention allows reduction of production costs and stopping up of device and accumulation of material on device surfaces, provision of high quality and yield of produced pellets.
