FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, in operations of abrasive treatment of blanks of various materials. SUBSTANCE: application of lubricant i ensured by simultaneous feed of plastic and solid lubricant onto the wheel working surface. Plastic lubricant is fed through axial ducts in a solid lubricant means, having a rectangular shape in cross-section. The solid lubricant means is installed at an angle of 70 to 75 deg to the plane passing through the axes of rotation of the wheel and blank proceeding from the condition of contact of its surface with the blank surface being treated. Plastic lubricant is positioned in a cup between two pistons linked by a spring. One of them has through axial ducts. When compressed air is fed to the cup, the solid lubricant means is pressed to the wheel working surface with touching of the blank being treated. Plastic lubricant is applied onto the wheel simultaneously through the through axial ducts of the piston and solid lubricant means. The flow rates of plastic and solid lubricants are adjusted by variation of pressure of the fed compressed air, depending on the stress level of the grinding process.
