Abstract RU 2211063 C2

FIELD: gas generating devices applicable in production of low-temperature gas in combustion of solid chemical substance. SUBSTANCE: gas generating device has cylindrical seamless body from steel with encapsulated cover tightly secured thereto by rolling-up from one side, and with opening for discharge of gases from the other side; located inside body igniter and monolithic charge of solid chemical substance found in body with side gap. Cover has centrally located pipe union with male thread and hole located coaxially to priming cap. Cooling filter is located in device body. Pipe union conical hole accommodates bushing installed with interference fit against the slop of priming cap and having side surface in form of Morse cone and central through hole. Weighted portion of igniting composition is located in blind channel in charge end facing cover. Placed between cover and charge end is flat flexible member. Charge other end rests on cooling filter presenting gas- permeable monoblock from inert material. Conical bushing with female thread is installed in opening for gas discharge. Charge is made from azideless gas- generating composition. EFFECT: improved convenience of gas generator operation due to combination of its function in one device and higher safety of operation due to increased stability of its characteristics and operate reliability. 2 cl, 1 dwg
