FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method is used in production of sintered low-phosphorus manganese concentrate. Method includes heat treatment of manganese ore at temperature of 850-1300 C in presence of oxide of alkali-earth metal and carbon-containing material. Alkali-earth metal oxide-silicon dioxide weight ratio equal to 0.5-1.1, and carbon weight in carbon-containing material amounts up to 4-10% of ore weight. Obtained product is treated with solution of nitric acid. Invention provides fro simplification of production process of low-phosphorus manganese concentrate and reduction of its price cost. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
