SUBSTANCE: cooling tower has sprinkler with two tiers of stages, two rows of water distributors provided with sprayers; water distributor of lower row is located under lower stage of sprinkler; sprayers of upper row are oriented to upper stage of sprinkler and sprayers of lower row are oriented to lower stage of sprinkler; thickness of lower stage is equal to 1.1 - 1.5 of thickness of upper stage and distance between tiers is equal to 1.0 - 5.0 of thickness of lower stage. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of heat exchange. 1 dwg
