METHOD FOR SECRET BALLOT ELECTIONS USING VOTING PAPERS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: running elections, polls, referendums. SUBSTANCE: before filling voting paper and its insertion into poll box, method involves getting envelope with stamps from closed box. Stamps carry individual identification numbers. The opposite side of stamps is adhesive. Then, voter anonymously attaches the stamp to voting paper, which has two identical parts separated by cut line. The voter fills both parts of voting paper, separates voting paper into two parts and inserts only one part of stamped voting paper into poll box, while another stamped voting paper part is kept by voter in order to provide retrospective monitoring to ensure correctness of counting the vote, when poll results are published.
