FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has two-dimensional set of electrodes to be arranged on the body surface, alternating current source, potential difference measurement unit, two multiplexor units switching electrodes in turn to the alternating current source and the potential difference measurement unit, control unit connected to the multiplexors, power supply source and potential difference measurement unit, and computer unit connected to it with communication line. The computer unit reconstructs and visualizes electric conductivity distribution inside the body according to measurement results. Device has two additional electrodes connected to power supply source and potential difference measurement unit positioned remote from the two-dimensional set of electrodes, for instance, on extremities. The computer unit is provided with program for reconstructing electric conductivity distribution by reverse projecting along the equipotential surfaces of electric field of potential differences between neighboring electrodes of the two- dimensional set.
