FIELD: continuous casting of thin belt of aluminium and its alloy between rolls, particularly method of starting plants for continuous casting between rolls. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preliminarily heating reservoir for supplying melt metal to apparatus for feeding metal under pressure and heating central zone of said apparatus; driving rolls to rotation and feeding melt metal to reservoir; placing in reservoir pickup for detecting level of melt metal; placing one or several removable gates between reservoir and central zone of above mentioned apparatus; preliminarily heating rolls, opening one or several gates when melt metal achieves predetermined level; controlling level of melt metal in reservoir according to preset law; correcting spatial position of apparatus for feeding metal in order to keep predetermined spacing between edges of apparatus and rolls. EFFECT: enhanced quality of cast belts, especially belts of small thickness due to strictly sustaining mode for supplying metal into reservoir of apparatus for feeding metal and due to constant correction of spatial position of said apparatus. 16 cl, 8 dwg
