FIELD: lock fittings for pipelines, methods of making fittings for reliable closing of effective cross section of pipelines. SUBSTANCE: ball cock with full opening is placed between two tubes. Ends of tubes are sealed relative to cock ball that provides opening and closing of cock at rotating around its axis. Ball of cock and ends of tubes are surrounded with hose-like body whose ends are secured to sides of tubes for joining parts of cock. On ends of tubes along their circumferences there are practically stepped extensions for placing sealing rings. Body has narrowed cone portions near its ends and it is joined with tube sides in such a way that ball of cock and stepped ends of tubes with sealings are arranged inside space restricted by body. Method for making ball cock having sealings between tube ends and ball that opens and closes cock at rotating around its axis comprises steps of arranging hose-like body around ball and tube ends; securing ends of body to sides of tubes introduced into body; before such securing forming on both ends of tubes along their circumferences practically stepped extensions for placing sealing rings; abutting tube ends and sealings with opposite sides of ball cock; reducing ends of hose-like body under pressure for matching them with outer diameter of tubes.
