FIELD: educational engineering. SUBSTANCE: method includes studying grammar and translating texts using model structures based on Russian grammar; to this end, main syntactic elements are taken out of sentence by putting questions and then mentioned elements are learned on the bases of Russian grammar at the same time noting their essential characters in English. For learning predicates in English six forms of infinitive, of which five ones are real and one hypothetical forms, are combined into original plane figure each of whose sides corresponds to definite aspect and voice. Four arbitrary figures are obtained by logic transforms from mentioned figure; each of these figures corresponds to one tense of verb in English; compound verbal predicate composed of modal verb and infinitive is also derived. Respective Russian translation is given on each side of figure. Derivative figures are used for logic construction of interrogative and negative sentences and rules for agreement of sequence of tenses. In addition, mentioned original plane figure is subjected to logic transforms to obtain figures of which one displays four forms of gerund and other figure shows four forms of participle 1. For translating from Russian to English use is made of algorithm that involves putting questions to all articles of sentence, determining function of each word as syntactic element, ordering Russian words in appropriate sequence corresponding to order of words in English sentences, introducing missing syntactic elements, compiling scheme of English sentence using English grammar characters of syntactic elements, and putting words into translation scheme.
