FIELD: training means.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for teaching English, in particular one of its aspects - grammar. Purpose of the invention is the competent preparation of proposals and their reading. Model widely uses colour graphics, which replaces grammatical terms and concepts. Invention employs the principle of constructing a two-composite sentence on lexico-grammatical formulas, with selection and substitution of lexico-grammatical values in these formulas in order to obtain correct construction of all types of simple sentence. Invention is a simulator consisting of three parts: ten modules and stencils thereto; bank of variable grammatical values; sheet of tasks. Teacher uses the third part of the simulator for setting tasks for compiling English sentences, and the trainee uses the first and second parts of the simulator to correctly formulate the sentence and read it. Disclosed simulator provides instructor with possibility to form lexico-grammatical tasks in unlimited volume and diversity taking into account trainee individual abilities without using optional grammatical terms, which complicate material comprehensibility, which considerably reduces time for explanation and setting of task. Teacher can assign assignments both using foreign lexical units and their correspondences in Russian. Besides, use of the present simulator facilitates and accelerates memorizing of grammar rules by trainees, provides for obtaining of lexico-grammatical information in a logically comprehensible form, as well as maximum possibility of independent work with simulator. Training simulator has a wide age range for training, from children to adults of all ages. Efficiency simulator.
EFFECT: compared to common methods existing and used in public and private general and higher institutions, as well as other educational courses and centres, both domestic and foreign, simulator allows to increase training efficiency (or speed and digestibility of material) from 5–6 percent up to 65–70 percent.
