FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the composition of structural low-carbon steel with enamel coat for cold stampings. Proposed steel has components in the following ratio, wt.%: carbon, 0.02-0.08; manganese, 0.2-0.6; silicon, 0.005-0.1; copper, 0.01-0.1; aluminium, 0.02-0.07; boron, 0.001-0.05; calcium, 0.0005-0.01; nitrogen, 0.001-0.006; vanadium, 0.0005-0.003; niobium, 0.0005-0.003; and iron, the balance. Total content of vanadium and niobium in steel is 0.0055 wt.%, not above. EFFECT: increased resistance to deformation of cold-rolled structural low-carbon steel, decreased sensitivity of steel to formation of "fish scale" defect in enamel coating. 2 tbl
