FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, prosthodontics, applicable for correction of distal occlusion (class II). SUBSTANCE: the apparatus operates without cooperation with the patient. The orthodontic apparatus for correction of distal occlusion has two sections. Each section incorporates telescopically engageable guide tube and rod with an ear, connected on whose end by the opposite ends by means of fasteners to the upper and lower jaws. The guide rod is made with a stop for limiting its movement in the tube. An ear is located on the free end of the tube external surface for connection to the fasteners. The ear is twice bent respectively at an angle of 40 deg. in the vertical and 20 deg in the horizontal from the tube axis. The members located in the ear hole are fixed by a screw. A hexahedron for a wrench is made inside the screw. Spacing rings with flats are installed on the rod after the stop. The apparatus is made of titanium alloys, for example BT 1-0, BT-16, BT-6.
