BAND PRESS-FILTER FOR DEWATERING OF SLIME AND SLUDGE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: treatment of sewage waters to remove slime and sludge accumulated in operation of industrial and agricultural enterprises. SUBSTANCE: press-filter has supporting structure in which many shafts of various type-sizes are mounted. Passed between shafts are two endless screening bands of upper and lower locations. Mounted shafts are rotated through drive shafts by means of mechanical drive. Screening bands are tensioned by intermediate shafts located in movable bearings by means of hydraulic drives. Installed under upper screening band is vibration-percussive device whose lower level is limited by buffers. Vibration-percussive device is secured from one side to side members of supporting structure by means of two hinged supports, and from the other side, it is installed on disc cams by means of supporting pushers. Cams are located on ends of drive shaft, and pusher is located in body and adjustable by screw. Pusher body is fixed immovably to box side wall. Box is supporting structure of vibration-percussive device. Secured immovably at box top level are longitudinal runners over which bands slide. Percussive pin is fixed in lower lever of box. EFFECT: higher efficiency of dewatering of low-viscosity liquid slimes with moisture content up to 97%. 2 dwg
