FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: use of steam as carrying medium is proposed, which is fed into evaporating tank simultaneously with alkali metal compound. Gas mixture of steam and volatile substances formed during interaction of two contacting components is introduced into medium flow, advantageously into a point where temperature is superior to saturation temperature for this flow with vapors of volatile substances.
