FIELD: heavy-current pulse engineering; actuators for single-action systems. SUBSTANCE: piezoelectric-crystal generator has initiating device, shock- wave oscillator, and piezoelectric transducer assembled of parallel electrically interconnected piezoelectric-crystal plates with current- collecting electrodes. Shock-wave oscillator is monolithic body charged with explosive material in the form of layer and abutting linear charge perpendicular to electrodes of piezoelectric-crystal plates and initiated simultaneously over entire length. Material and size of piezoelectric- crystal plates, desired amplitude-time characteristics of electric current pulses in load, gas-dynamic characteristics of materials are interrelated by respective mathematical expressions. EFFECT: reduced output voltage surges and improved operating reliability of generator. 1 dwg
