FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying mental training, autogenous training elements, composed of doing muscle relaxation in successive stages, imagining energy flows in the body, using imagination and breathing exercises. The stage-by-stage organism relaxation is carried out by increasing number of elements acting upon the organism in known sequence. Pulse frequency control is performed after each stage and transition to the next stage is executed when optimum pulse frequency is observed, that is equal to or lower than the initial pulse frequency of the patient. The stages are performed under condition of increasing the number of elements in time interval determined by patient state until complete organism relaxation takes place. EFFECT: accelerated process of achieving relaxation state.
