FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: each of two external steel tubes is faced with corrosion-resistant facing tubes made of compressible plastic material which do not reach ends of external tubes in order to leave circular slot or countersunk hole on each of these ends. Tubular element-jumper is made of plastic corrosion-resistant material capable of plastic deformation, for example, of brass or stainless steel. It is provided with two tubular end sections positioned in opposite directions from intermediate tubular section, external diameter of which exceeds external diameter of end sections, and internal diameters exceeds internal diameter of the end sections. encircled with flanges. At the first external diameter of end sections is smaller than internal diameter of facing tubes therefore every facing tube may be mounted on respective end sections. In this case, intermediate section is occupied by combined bored-out hole. Tool operating from the inside widens end sections in radial direction in order to press plastic facing tubes to external tubes by value of 8-30% of thickness of facing tube wall. Adjacent ends of external tubes are welded together. External surface of intermediate section may be coated with heat-insulating material. Element-jumper is corrosion-resistant inside along joint of two external tubes. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of connection. 11 cl, 4 dwg
